Antique oil painting on board depicting a scene from the gospel of john Jesus Christ with a Samaritan at the well. Plaque reads Jan van Goyen, possibly incorrect frame. Measures 17" (43.18cm) length by 11" (27.94cm) height plus 4" (10.16cm) frame. Provenance: From an Italian lady, 80 years in age, residing in Miami. She and her husband were lovers of antiques and purchased items, mainly artwork, from antique stores and auctions. She lived first in Italy, then in Venezuela and currently in the USA.
