18th-19th century Italian school oil painting on canvas depicting Angels appearing to shepherds. The canvas has been re-lined. Measures 28" (71.12cm) length by 22" (55.88cm) height plus 3" (7.62cm) frame. Provenance: From an Italian lady, 80 years in age, residing in Miami. She and her husband were lovers of antiques and purchased items, mainly artwork, from antique stores and auctions. She lived first in Italy, then in Venezuela and currently in the USA.
